For Jan in VĂ€rmland, a walking scooter became his key to freedom
Jan from VĂ€rmland depended on his walking scooter to enjoy the freedom and be able to go where he wanted. But when his machine broke down and the region took the machine in for repair, he didn't get his machine back. His story was picked up by SVT VĂ€rmland and we at Eloped, together with Hopptimisten's Fundraising Foundation, heard about Jan's situation.
Hoptimisten's Fundraising Foundation and we at Eloped believe that everyone has the right to an active and fulfilling life without limitations and it is these values ââthat lay the foundation for the foundation's work. The foundation works to collect funds to be able to help applicants experience a life with these values ââin focus. We have been working with the foundation for several years hoping to make a difference to as many people as possible.
Together with Hoptimisten's Fundraising Foundation, we therefore had the opportunity to hand over an Eloped to Jan, who had his dream fulfilled and tearfully accepted his new walking scooter. SVT was there and filmed Jan's premiere ride on his new machine and captured his happiness - see more .
